What's happening on the hill:
Yes, we're a museum. But we're also a living, breathing part of a modern-day community. And that matters to us, too.
From the Kids' Carnival every spring, to the traditional Hoist House pancake breakfast and other Miners' Homecoming gatherings in July, to the annual Arts & Crafts Festival in the fall, we consider it part of our mission to stay connected with the community around us. Because this was a community built on teamwork and tradition. And we happen to think today's traditions are worth preserving, too.
So check this page often, mark your calendar, and plan to join us for our next community event. And the next one. And the one after that.
We'll see you there.
